Status update: I contacted #JetBrains' support, they asked for a memory dump, and – lo and behold – apparently I hadn't excluded logs and cache from indexing in the project.
So it appears to be my own error actually, not a but in #PHPStorm. Will see if actually excluding these directories will help.

Greeted by this damn “RustRover goes AI” modal this morning.

As LLMs are soooo goood, there’s only a single, “Let’s go”, button. To not “Go” you need to close the window.

Nice work JetBrains, dark patterns are always a display of great self confidence.
I’ve been a license holder for years, this might be the last straw.

thank you for your service #jetbrains, but after years of daily use i've almost entirely switched to #vscode for all of my work.
your refactory tools are still unmatched, but you've become too big & slow to be usable (i'm looking particularly at you, #rider)
