Visited the #RosewoodHotel in downtown #SaoPaulo #Brasil today. They have a nice #garden you can visit. Here is a #photo of a beautiful #flower I saw there. Had a wonderful lunch at the beautiful Italian #restaurant #MataCitta next to the #hotel. The restaurant was reasonably priced but the hotel is the most expensive in the city. The hotel #architect was #JeanNouvel.

Lost in time and towering dreams 🌿✨
Rosewood São Paulo isn’t just a hotel — it’s a breathtaking dialogue between São Paulo’s elegant past and its wildly creative future.
On one side: the beautifully restored Matarazzo maternity building, all neoclassical grace, soft grey stone, arched windows, and whispering history (over half a million Brazilians took their first breath here!).
On the other: Jean Nouvel’s audacious vertical garden tower rising like a living skyscraper, wrapped in thousands of native plants, corten steel brises the color of Pau Brasil wood, and pure urban jungle energy.
Old-world charm meets vertical forest magic — classic meets contemporary in the most poetic way possible.
This is where heritage breathes again and nature reclaims the skyline. A true masterpiece of thoughtful revival and fearless innovation.
Who else needs to experience this harmonious masterpiece in person? 🇧🇷🏛️🌱
