Because our financial values were *100 off I found out that https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8261913 exists. TLDR: enabling -XX:FlightRecorderOptions may break your String to value conversion via DecimalFormat, "." and "," may be swapped. This bug exists since Java 11. #Java #JavaFlightRecorder #DevOps
