or at least that's what I have observed in the few specimens of their species that I have caught manually.

If you can only grow one shrub in your garden, then I would recommend the #Japanese milk tree or #Neoshirakia #japonica.

Today I've made some first quince jam from the fruits of our chaenomeles japonica. It's super tasty and I've even attempted to write its Japanese name (γγ«γ‘γ) on the glasses. Really not that easy if you've never done it before. Sumimasen deshita, I'm trying my best.

There are thousands of cultivars of these things apparently, with many colors and forms of flowers.
