I don't know now whether to watch another #JamesPurefoy movie, the TiVo having two more, or use this good feeling to make it through something else.
But the TiVo clearance must go on.
After a terrible Jason Statham movie, #GeorgeAndTheDragon (2004) was surprisingly good, better than I anticipated.
In this movie, the bloopers in the end credits came across rather differently.
#BillOddie and #PatrickSwayze in the same movie is surely a rarity, as well.
Yes, it had anachronisms coming out of its ears, from not really being sure what century and country it was set in, to the skateboard.
But it's a tale in over 8 centuries of such mediaeval romances that have been confused, unrealistic, and fanciful. It has some good company. (Filmed in Scotland and Luxembourg, per the credits.)
The #DreadPirateRoberts moment was telegraphed way ahead of time.
Much underrated and overlooked, I read afterwards (not wanting to spoil it, as this is one in the TiVo that I had never seen until today). If you've overlooked it, but like A Knight's Tale, Ladyhawke, Stardust, Dragonheart, Snow White And The Huntsman, and stuff like that, then give it a view.
Catching up on more stuffs. The "Last Known Position" #RadioDrama #Podcast, has a classic group of folks tossed into a mysterious situation setup and is promising but the first couple episodes...
The writing and acting is very Joss Whedon, and I absolutely mean that as an insult. (Always found Whedon's stuff annoying, the constant winking at the audience vibe. It all feels like the NERF version of actual media. Just a little more over the top and it would all be parody. All his shady BS is a whole other reason he sucks.)
Anyways, the end of episode 3, stuff starts happening more. Getting a little better but...
At least #JamesPurefoy shows up and starts chewing the scenery.
