Die Genoss*innen vom WAS haben Folgendes veröffentlicht:
"Der FSW streicht seit einem halben Jahr Gelder im Sozialbereich, daß einem schwindlig werden könnte. Zehntausende Schicksale werden existenzbedroht. Auch die Sozial-Arbeitenden trifft es besonders hart. Wieder einmal müssen ganze Abteilungen schließen. Anscheinend wird die gesamte #Ukrainehilfe in #Wien komplett dichtgemacht. Die #Diakonie exekutiert folgsam das Sparprogramm der Sozialdemokratie und kündigt jedenfalls derzeit einen Haufen Menschen.
Soweit – so kapitalismusimmanent. Die Sache ist nur, die Diakonie hält sich selbst dabei nichteinmal an die bürgerlichen Mindeststandards des Arbeitsrechtes. Einer Genossin des WAS, die seit mehreren Jahren eine Vollzeitstelle bei der Ukrainehilfe hat, wurde im Herbst eröffnet, daß sie nicht in die kleine neu zu schaffende Abteilung übernommen wird, sondern auch gekündigt werden soll. Als Grund wurde auch gleich genannt, dass es der Diakonie nicht gepaßt habe, dass sie sich öffentlich für eine Arbeitskollegin eingesetzt hat. Die Diakonie hätte eigentlich eine Entlassung vornehmen wollen, aber man brauche ihre Arbeitskraft noch einige Monate bis zur endgültigen Liquidierung der Ukrainehilfe."

As an anarcho-syndicalist, I can’t recommend the IWA-AIT web magazine enough.
The more I read, the more I yearn, and I try to educate myself on the struggles, the movements, the splits and reorganizations, and the lessons from our history.
It’s giving me a stronger sense of what we stand for and where we’re going. It feels like the best kind of self-education, a gift to start the new year.
