Awhile back I read a post that a child therapist shared that was all quotes that kids have said in therapy, things that their parents do that don't prioritize them, or hurt them, or ways in which they aren't heard or respected. Ouch. While I do get those kinds of quotes sometimes, more than anything I get quotes that share how much parents do try to understand and listen and make themselves available. #ittakesavillage
