My tendency to use multiple desktops extensively, tabs in #iterm #neovim as a multiplexer, multiple iterm instances, multiple neovim instances in those iterm instances, tabs in browsers and multiple browser windows means my desktop is even messier than my real life one, and I frequently have the same web page or file open in three places that I've forgotten and then lost.

I uh... need a better strategy here.

Either that, or I accept that my use of computers reflects my #adhd.

I’m not sure why #iTerm fucks up the sessions and the key codes every now and then. This is suppose to be Ctrl-x for exiting Nano/Pico on MacOs. If i restart the terminal/session it would work ok. anyone else experiencing the same?
Today is the day to install Ghostty 🙂 (you can now search your terminal) https://ghostty.org/docs/install/release-notes/1-3-0 #terminal #warp #iterm

Anyone know what determines if zsh closes the window or shows "zsh: do you wish to see all 3867 possibilities (1934 lines)?" when one hits Control + D on a macbook (in iTerm)?

I can't really see any pattern, but it printing the later is sometimes is quite annoying...

#iTerm #zsh

switching from #iTerm to #ghostty - night and day difference in latency. iTerm has become too bloated. Or I am doing it wrong. In any case, I don't think I am going back.

Config is a bit of a hassle (env text file) but there is not too much to configure. I had to set copy-on-select = clipboard (what it says) and shell-integration-features = ssh-env to be able to run tmux on remote servers but that's it.
