ITER didn’t appear overnight 🌍⚡
Its origins lie in decades of research and rare international cooperation.
I’ve been exploring how the project began and why it still matters today.

ITER brings together some of the world’s leading scientific powers to advance fusion energy 🌍⚛️
Curious which countries are ITER members and how this unique collaboration works?

#KnowledgeBit: #ITER,International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor, is the world's largest #Fusion #Experiment. Thirty-five nations are collaborating to build and operate the ITER Tokamak, the most complex machine ever.
ITER Tokamak will be the largest and most powerful #Fusion device in the world.
This may be considered #HotTakes by some, I consider these #based: (no ragebait inteded!)
If you have a problem with these, please kindly fuck off in silence!
This list is non-exhaustive...

📚 Approaching ITER for the first time naturally raises substantial questions.
As a flagship fusion experiment, it challenges our assumptions about confinement, scaling and long-term feasibility. ⚡🌍
The ITER team’s FAQ provides a well-structured overview of purpose, progress and scientific context:

How is ITER structured, and who shapes its decision-making?
ITER’s governance model coordinates international partners to lead one of the world’s most ambitious fusion-energy projects — a strong demonstration of global scientific collaboration.

@TwraSun
PV+Wind+Biomasse + akku +H2-Speicher
