Hmm, this nebula doesn't have a name, I'm thinking Stitch Nebula in honor of Lilo & Stitch. Or maybe the Jerboa Nebula? It's right next to the Bubble nebula, which gets all the press. The bright spot in the middle doesn't even have a designation in the World Wide Telescope, or Aladin? Going to try to get some data with #iTelescope tonight on T14.

Just deleted my #iTelescope account after they doubled the price by deleting the Plan20 and moving the accounts to Plan40 with barely any notice and zero consultation.
I didn't use it enough for it to be worth £40 per month to me.

Ein Juwel im Universum ist die Feuerrad Galaxie M101 im Sternbild Großer Bär. Für mein Equipment eigentlich zu klein und lichtschwach.
Die Entfernung beträgt 21 Millionen (!) Lichtjahre!

Die Wintersternbilder verschwinden nun unter dem Horizont. Am 24. März gab es einige Wolkenlücken, so dass ich nochmal gut 1,5 Stunden den Weihnachtsbaumnebel im Sternbild des Einhorn belichten konnte. Er ist ein Dunkelnebel vor einer aktiven roten Ha interstellaren Wolke in der neue Sterne entstehen. Die Entfernung beträgt etwa 2500 Lichtjahre.

Die Gasnebel NGC2014, 2020, 2030, 2040 und Andere in der Großen Magellanschen Wolke, welche eine Satellitengalaxie unserer Milchstraße ist. Sie ist ein Objekt des Südsternhimmels und somit von Mitteleuropa aus nicht sichtbar. Für das Foto habe ich das iTelescope T32 im Siding Spring Observatority benutz. Das Foto mit einer Gesamtbelichtungszeit von 3h 20min entstand an mehreren Abenden in dem Zeitraum 1. - 13. April 2023.
Es ist ein Falschfarbenfoto erstellt mit den Schmalbandfiltern Ha, OIII und SII.
Die erste Bildumsetzung entspricht der sogenannten Hubble Palette
(R: SII G:Ha B:OIII)
