[followup] #Netherlands Never let to waste a good #pogrom
Tireless despicable Israeli Ministry of Diaspora and Anti-Semitism Prevention is still trying to cash in on a fabricated narrative of a pre-planned pogrom.
Th Ministry (headed by Neo-Nazi friendly Amichai Chikli) attempted to directly influence Dutch political discourse by bypassing normal diplomatic channels - they sent a report directly to some members of the Dutch Parliament (Kamerleden) just before a parliamentary debate about violence in Amsterdam.
The report accused six Dutch pro-Palestinian organizations of having ties to #Hamas and blamed them for violence against Israeli football supporters and Jews in Amsterdam, particularly singling out the Palestinian Community Netherlands Foundation (#PGNL) as having a major organizing role. This unusual approach of distributing serious accusations through social media and directly to parliamentarians, rather than through proper diplomatic and law enforcement channels, drew sharp criticism from the Dutch cabinet who viewed it as potentially harmful to Dutch citizens and contrary to principles of democratic order [*].
[*] In this case publishing full names of the activists Israel claims are tied to Hamas without any evidence other than “we have reasons to believe”…

This Dutch government letter, dated November 29, 2024, from the Ministry of Justice and Security (Ministerie van Justitie en Veiligheid) to the Dutch Parliament (Staten-Generaal) discusses the “report” from the Israeli Ministry of Diaspora and Antisemitism Prevention (#DAb) regarding six Dutch pro-Palestinian organizations.
The key points in the letter are:
1. The Israeli DAb report attempts to link these organizations to alleged antisemitic violence in Amsterdam on November 7-8, 2024
2. The report specifically claims the Palestinian Community Netherlands Foundation (PGNL) had a major role in organizing these incidents
3. The Dutch government notes that these allegations were not shared through formal channels with Dutch authorities
4. The Dutch cabinet considers the public distribution of these allegations through social media "unusual and undesirable" given the potential negative consequences for Dutch residents
5. The Dutch government has addressed this matter with Israeli authorities
The letter is signed by D.M. van Weel (Minister of Justice and Security) and C. Veldkamp (Minister of Foreign Affairs).
