2. Heat dome over the Northeastern United States to create very hot temperatures there and in adjacent Canada. Widespread temperatures approaching 35°C in low elevations away from major water bodies.

Unfortunately, #ISONewEngland #ISONE isn't doing sh*t to encourage anyone to conserve electricity during #eclipse24. Instead, it says it'll just fire up peaker plants: "...solar production is expected to drop off fairly rapidly over the course of the eclipse and will need to be replaced by other sources of power generation. Egads. I look at these local #electricity production charts every day, and I don't think I've ever seen oil at 30%.

And just watch the emissions come up with that.
