I saw elsewhere that it's been everyone's favourite Icelandic songstress's birthday today, and I've seen people sharing favourite songs by Björk or by the Sugarcubes to celebrate it. I almost went with Regina as it holds a special memory of owning the 12" mixes of it and playing them loud in my car on the drive to college, but I think my ears these days prefer the melodic, fairytale otherworldliness of Isobel instead.
