Selling Plug&Charge but offering AutoCharge instead. It is finally happening, in the US, UK, and in several WhatsApp groups in Spain fraudulent use of AutoCharge has been accumulating since last week. RFIDs are not secure, and can be improved by adding a layer of 2FA. In personal EVs people check their Apps and see their MAC address is being used and can do nothing while it is happening, ... well, you can hope 🙏🏼 they are not charging a Hummer EV or a eHGV. My opinion: A feature that should only be used in controlled (private) environments and not in public. 1)What is your stance? 2)Are you listening to EV drivers enough?

Whoever added #XMLDSig to #ISO15118 (billing for #EV charging) must have been in big oil pocket. I can't fathom any other reasonable explanation... I doubt there would have been a better way to subtly ensure interoperability problems and slow down adoption. Absolute masterstroke.

Not even speaking of the inevitable security issues that will arise...
