@TwShiloh The humor in intelligence panel was at #ISA2023 in Montreal the week before. Two major conferences involving travel in consecutive weeks. I'm exhausted!

I didn't give a paper at this Society for Military History conference, but heard some great stuff. Three #intelligence panels and a great talk arguing that, yes, the #RomanEmpire, did have strategy, stand out to me. @histodons

Currently listening to a Panel at #isa2023 about policy responses to backsliding. Major questions about the role of the international in supporting (or hindering) democracy movements, relevant in many cases e.g. in Iran right now.
