@amethyst obviously it's #IronPython.

@glyph

@robrich This looks really interesting. Was using #ironpython before. Would you consider this a replacement or something different?
After looking at some demos of it, it really looks very slick and I 100% see it being immensely useful to a ton of people and organizations.

#Jupyter, #JupyterLab, and #Orange3 make things easier but still aren't spreadsheet based or easily distributable—both things that matter a lot to normies. #PyXLL is closer but gets pricey and doesn't replicate all the functionality without significant effort. And it's best to just not talk about trying to do data science in #IronPython.

I can easily imagine this catching on like wildfire among the people who see the appeal of writing a
#Python function to handle something annoying in an #Excel spreadsheet. I know there are a handful of functions in #NLTK that I'd love. Heck, even access to python's more powerful #RegEx engine would be super useful.

Exciting news! Our #IronPython workshop is happening at @defcon tomorrow at 0900!

Missed a spot? No worries! For those who couldn't secure a place but still want to dive in, here are the materials to follow along. @defconworkshops
