So in this dystopian future people under 16 won't be able to access real-time rail updates, and the rest of us will have to provide a passport and a selfie to find out if the train is running late !

Well done IrishRail! Seat reservations displaying BEFORE departure from Dublin Connolly to Wexford.

This is the first 18:28 Thursday service where I’ve seen this in the last 9 months. If only you could have ran ABCD it would be perfect.

On the downside no bunfights to look forward to on arrival in Pearse.

Old meets new — I got lucky, and managed to snap a meeting of former Great Northern Railway of Ireland (GNRi) 4-4-0 #steam loco No. 171 Slieve Gullion meeting an #IrishRail Commuter train at Matt Goff Bridge along the #RoyalCanal in #Leixlip. The loco was pulling an # RPSI (Railway Preservation Society of Ireland) “Midlander” special #train towards Maynooth.

The rapeseed flowers are really coming into bloom, both in our fields, and, along our hedgerows, including along the banks of the #RoyalCanal near #Maynooth. Not quite the same shade of yellow as the safety front on the #IrishRail trains, but thought it was a fun pairing anyway 🙂 #Bloomscrolling
