Celtic Tiger Cranes and the Elysian Rising
Cork City during the height of the Celtic Tiger era, captured in 2007 when Ireland’s construction boom was at its peak and the city skyline was dominated by cranes building new office blocks and apartments, including the Elysian Tower.
It would all come crashing down financially within a year. Some apartments in the Elysian were vacant for years.
I've seen some posts and articles about this report, but it definitely hasn't gotten the airtime it deserves.

2) Good article from #RTE detailing the current state of the #IrishHousing market. It seems likely that pricing has hit stall speed with the end of #COVID and the increase in inflation rates
IMHO, an increase in #housing affordability however is unlikely unless the number of units constructed is dramatically increased from ~30k units. I’ve seen various estimates in the past year which range from 40k to 62k.
