Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that it targeted a U.S. military base last night, which was used to launch attacks on Sirk Island.

In a statement, the IRGC warned that if attacks are repeated, the response will not be as it was before.

Iran has not provided details on the location of the U.S. base that was targeted, but previously, reports have indicated missile and drone attacks on Kuwait.

The Tasnim News Agency, citing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), reported that its forces shot down an American “MQ1” drone this morning.

Tasnim reported that the drone was attempting to penetrate Iranian territorial waters and launch an attack.

The news agency added that the drone was immediately identified and destroyed by the IRGC’s modern air defense systems.

The Iranian military warned that Iran’s airspace and maritime territory are under complete surveillance and control and that any transgression will be met with a decisive response.
