eduke32 compiles and runs native on FreeBSD. Ion Fury even works. You have to pass the FURY=1 argument to gmake and probably LTO=0 as well. Ion Fury is the BEST fps! Well, 2nd best after Quake. But still, best Build fps at the very least. The level designs especially are something else. Been playing through Ion Fury, a fps made with the Build Engine by Ken Silverman from Duke Nukem, Blood, Shadow Warrior and more. This is an amazing game! I was using a recent eduke32 port and was confused as to why my mod of voxels was not working. Dummy me didn't realize there is a argument FURY=1 to add. I did have to edit the make file to turn off the SDL hard linking and disable lto with LTO=0. Now my voxels work, I wonder if I can get my save to work over here now, because I'm on Episode 5. This is my favorite FPS since Quake. SOOO good! #FreeBSD #IonFury #BuildEngine
