John Faithfull 🌍🇪🇺🏴🧡✊🏻✊🏿Day one of dry-stane-dyking course/volunteer labour on Iona yesterday: repairing/rebuilding an existing wall at Maol croft. Really useful and interesting day.
The local glacial debris of granite and gneiss makes for very hard and irregular stones, but they are all we have to work with!
Three more days later this week , and weather should be much better.... 😊
