Getting ready to go to a volunteer award night to accept an award, as my partner and I were nominated for our work with the local basketball org.

I keep thinking about the various corporate trainings we’ve both had to do in the past where it talked about how you should ask your employees/colleagues etc if they prefer public thanks or private thanks.

And how confused all the extroverts would look at the very idea that a person might not want to be lauded publicly.

Yeah, we got nominated by an extrovert.
