@matdevdug @nba I have been saying this for weeks now! The #fediverse Is going to split. You will have the medium to large instances federating with each other, that will be where the action is and the focus on user experience. Someone coined #introverse where the smaller instances with those resistant to change will fall. The average user cannot be expected to run their own instance and we can keep leaving instances out to dry b/c some old heads don’t want instances to have the ability to provide for themselves. Meta joining will bring an influx and create a tone of action. People will defederate but the average user won’t notice as the amount of activity will be free flowing.

@jdp23 We are for sure in complete agreement. Here’s my only annoyance. There will be disingenuous vocal #Introverse users that wanted to split & back all of the points I disagree with, but they will have an alt account to use to take part in the other side.
@misc @franktaber I actually like that #Introverse I believe there will still be great caution even by those that was a more open #fediverse and this will bring in more devs/tools. The beautiful thing is that users will have choice and the ability to see which suits their needs best. There is room for users to mostly get what they want
