I'm Ruaraidh and I'm from the Gaidhealtachd (Scotland's one , the Highlands of Scotland)

I run this instance, badly, from my computer as well as a few extra bits like Writefreely, FreshRSS and SearxNG using Yunohost.

I have a few hobbies which include;

Gardening - my garden is slowly becoming a mesh of wild and tamed
Badminton - not particularly good although it's a great way to stay in shape1
Videogames; racing games and first-person shooters on Xbox.
Photography - Birds, landscapes and my garden plants

I am interested in

Topics like rewilding but inclusive of people, no green-lairds please
Rural displacement; its causes and effects.
The similarites and differences of Gaels and indigenous/first nation peoples of the world.
The Gàidhlig world
