I don't have #intraoperative recall of #surgery per se, but rather delayed recall of my internal state while #anesthetized. I felt #disembodied, with an urgent need (& inability) to breathe, crushing pressure without #pain. The near absence of #sensory input triggered a detached panic, alongside the inability to perceive/sense #time. I didn't know who I was, what was happening, or how I'd gotten there.
Subjectively felt like I was in this void for an immense and yet also instantaneous interval.
