My sourdough bread wasn’t one of my better loaves & I knew it was a bit too wet but decided it would be fine & it is, it just didn’t rise as much. TBH though, once you cut it the crumb is more like store bought bread 🍞😬 & it tastes just fine. That’s all you want so definitely not a failure.
The feijoas, oh my goodness - it was cut & scoop on repeat - over a hundred of them & once they’ve stewed down there really isn’t that much left. I don’t use sugar so added a little erythritol & chia seed as sweetener & thickener & it’s delicious. I’m letting it cool now & will put it in the fridge overnight. If I think it’s thick enough I’ll reheat it & put it in jars, if it needs more thickening I’ll boil it again for a little while. I’m happy with the taste though. It’ll be used as a jam or to top Greek yoghurt.
I’ve also been eating (picking) all afternoon & don’t want any dinner 😂.
