Today was long-interval-day. We did 3x10 minutes at HM pace with 2 minute breaks in between. The last one immediately followed by a 2-minute 10k pace and 1-minute 5k pace.
Feels good to be able to maintain a reasonable pace for a longer period. Wasn't able to do a long run the past 2 weeks due to family obligations so the legs and the mind really needed some exercise.

After the benchmark run last week today was the first interval training based on those results. So we ran 4x100m, 8x200m and 4x400m with specific time targets based on your benchmark. It was fun 😁.
Trainer could still walk after what he called a 'brutal' Arc of attrition (UTMB 100M course along the South West coast path in the UK). Pictures were beautiful though.
