I needed a little break from a ternary encoded display, so I went back to one of my old favourites. French Decimal Time 🇫🇷.
As a side note, since it is no longer DST in Europe and I'm the same timezone as the Swatch headquarters 🇨🇭, it's also actually the current valid time in .Beats (a.k.a. Swatch® Internet Time)! 🥳
@jann I've been a proponent for ISO8601 date format (yyyy-mm-dd) for more years than I can remember precisely because it's sortable and proceeds from most to least significant like other numbers. I also use a 24-hour clock whenever possible. But I never got into that "Internet Time".

On the topic of #InternetTime, the main hurdle with adoption is that digital local-time clock and internet time are not at all similar in representation.
But what if we made an analog internet-time clock? As in, watch-face with internet-time numbers on it?
Instead of a 12 hour clock, we'd have a 500 beat clock.
There's the tiny challenge of porting the minute hand meaningfully, but we could easily space out 000-499 for the "hour" hand.
Wait. What do I call the time format that is not #InternetTime?
Local time? Legacy Time? 24:60 time?
