Does anyone remember when the Internet was actually good? When you searched for reviews, you got actual quality review, not #AISlop review farms or so-called reviews that are glorified affiliate links

You didn't get bombarded with eighteen ads on an eight minute video, and many websites had *personality*, rather than the plain digital brutalism that consumes every website now.

There was no such thing of #GenerativeAI, so you knew any images you made were 100% human made.

Chat rooms were so popular back then in 1990s and 2000s, I still remember the experience even though at that time I could only feel a little bit at the end of its popularity in the early 2010s. Somehow I still use some of the remaining chat rooms from 1990s and 2000s like Chat-Avenue or Paltalk.
