Yesterday, I was watching a video about the Astronomer CEO at the Cold Play concert. One snippet was of a woman saying that she used #ChatGPT to figure out what the odds of ending up on camera were. Here question to ChatGPT was structured very much in a "that's not actually how you meaningfully determine probabilities".

With or without ChatGPT, #GIGO, I suppose. That said, it was illustrative of a problem that ChatGPT is likely to worsen: #InternetExperts. You're going to have people too lazy to do an actual, meaningful search going even lazier and posing poorly-specified questions to already iffy #LLMs and thinking that they've gotten a meaningful answer.

The period between the end of the NFL season and the draft is one of my least favorite. Too many mock drafting, free agent speculating, Madden-playing armchair experts lecturing about what their team should do. I just wait to see what the professional scouts and general managers do.
