Novel kinase regulators of extracellular matrix internalisation identified by high-content screening modulate invasive carcinoma cell migration
This study identifies novel kinase regulators of extracellular matrix (ECM) internalization through a high-content screen, characterizing the α2β1 integrin/p38 signaling axis as required for the internalization integrin-bound ECM, which modulates cell migration and invasion in breast, ovarian and pancreatic cancer cells.
