This insulin pump is bananas.
My insulin pump controller uses the Linux kernel. It also violates the GPL

@bedast that's super annoying when #insulinPump does so! I've opted to silence my phone for the night as rest is a priority.
Rhetorical questions: from a purely objective perspective curious to know what makes it so? Wondering if it's inferior antenna coupled with signal absorption. /r
Of course, I did not pay $10,000 for mine. That's insane. I have insurance.
I only paid $2,000 for mine.
... yeah
Tandem really needs to fix their Mobi.
So far, I'm not aware of a Mobi insulin pump lasting a year. My first one was replaced after 6 months. My current one is 6 months old, though so far no problems.
They all seem to have a common failure mode: Piston drive starts failing and can no longer adequately deliver insulin, especially during a bolus.
I'm aware of several cases of this.
This is a $10,000 device.
