WallA fine thing about my upbringing is that I never felt the slightest need to prove or validate my gender, so the culture of boys showing off to impress other boys never so much as brushed the hem of my discount Sears Surplus dungarees, and thus, I came of age fully aware that such things were laughable & stupid, and got to be myself, instead.
So much wrong with the world comes back to the roots of this for all those who weren't so lucky.
