This sarracenia grown from open pollinated seed is my favorite so far. It only stands five inches but should be beautiful next season.

Blooming #insectivores! The pitcher plants at the Rehder Garden are tall and lush. The white flowers are the blossoms of Venus Flytraps, visible near the ground but hidden by their showy compatriots.

A pumice rock planting with a large ping, an Australian pitcher plant, string of turtles, tiny tears, and moss. This is the first time I have attempted this kind of a planting. There must be lots of insects in the air today, because somewhere between 50 and 100 Dusky Woodswallows filled the air this morning. They're so agile that I didn't manage an action shot, but at least they stop for a break from time to time.
