“We are whole-hearted extroverts; the penalty of restricting oneself is anything from neurosis to down right lunacy; in particular, melancholia. You ask whether these remarks do not conflict with my repeated definition of Initiation as the Way In. Not at all; the Inmost is identical with the All. … When the entire system of the Universe is conterminous with your comprehension, ‘inward’ and ‘outward’ become identical.”

I played Inmost 🪦 🌹
It's a short and beautiful game with a very polished atmosphere and an intriguing story 🧸
I highly recommend it if you like puzzle platformers!

Dolor y pixels
Unas 5 horas me llevó terminarlo.
Wrapped up #DreadTemplar after five hours and nine levels because of an annoying boss encounter. Why do we still have boss encounters?
Also tried #Inmost and after half an hour of sad goth darkety dark whining about PAIN and clunky controls that one went in the hopper too.
And of course, a few more immediately come to mind:
#Sable
#YokusIslandExpress
#EnvironmentalStationAlpha
Also #Inmost isn't quite in this grouping but it's close. And for completeness sake I should mention a few games that are more well known:
I also haven't included older/mainstream games, but basically along the lines of #Metroidvania / #JRPG. Special mention to
#Marvelous (Another Treasure Island) which only every got an indie translation to my knowledge and which has done very refreshing mechanics.
