Hey everyone! Can't afford to do #inkwithwatts every day but I really wanted to study Franklin Booth.
Still not finished (will post a finished, I promise!) but it was so interesting I decided to post it.
So I found (through experimentation you can see even here) I can do pretty much everything with my one trusty nib and only big areas of full black fill with brushpen.

Todays prompt from #inkwithwatts was „gnarly tree”, yesterdays was „clouds” so I figured it's a perfect opportunity to study from my favorite inks by Glenn Mayer.
It's only a part of the whole, you can see the bigger image on my tumblr (look up deerbard there).
This was yet another humbling experience and yet again I'm so happy I did it finally. Thank you Watts Atelier for this challange!

After an unwanted break I have one more study for #inkwithwatts. Tried to copy Frank Frazetta. Now I have no idea what tools he used (can anyone help with that?) and I'm pretty sure mine were not the same but I still had a great time learning about his lines and shapes. What a master. I felt so clumsy throughout the whole process.
