For #InkSwatchWednesday this is Diamine Pine Needle from the Inkvent 2024 calendar. A really pretty green- a bit like Diamine classic green but with some green shimmer and lots of shading. Done with a glass dip pen and zebra g nib and brush #InkSwatch #FountanPens #Inkvent2024 #PibeNeedle I did this on the day, but only got around to documenting it now!

@penfount Here’s one of my favorites from the 2024 Inkvent calendar. This one definitely a candidate for a full bottle.

Day 8 is Marley, a purple gray with some amazing chromatography with a rose hue and a vivid teal making an appearance.

Swatches are made on Canson, cold press 140lb watercolor paper with a brass Kakimori nib. I’m using a self-inking stamp from Midori that has an oil based ink. My wife spotted this stamp at a Kinokuniya Portland visit.

Tadaaa. Die letzte Tinte im schwarzen Kalender ist natürlich schwarz. Aber so ohne Chichi ist die Tinte wahrhaftig nicht. Sie hat einen lila Unterton und trocknet mit einem grünen Sheen auf. 😍 Der Kalender startete mit Taubentinte und endet mit Rabentinte. Mein Gruftiherz macht einen Sprung. Gut, dass die letzte Flasche größer ist. 😊

Und auch die 23, "Pine Needle", ist sehr festlich. Eine Chameleonink in einem warmen Grasgrün mit je nach Lichteinfall grün oder golden schimmernden Glitzergedöns darin. Gerade den Grundton mag ich sehr gerne. Ein tolles Grün!

22. Tag im Inkvent. Heute mit "Nutmeg", eine Tinte in einem dieser angesagten Schlammtöne aber mit festlichem Glitzer in Gold darin.
