Tossed over the side was I
cause the consensus
of the well connected
determined I was ballast
weighing down the craft
more than recommended
by those in authority
whose respected opinions
carry more weight
than this abandoned
bottom of the sea guy

wishing the oligarch
everything he deserves

Imagine the interfacing possibilities
if we did NOT take
every perceived slight
so personally?

If complete
and unrestrained honesty
were the rule
rather than exception?

Then all of humanity
could conceivably communicate
unfiltered and deservedly
unconditionally

Wouldn't that be great?

No negotiation or consultation
for us ghosts
with no leverage
and minimum resistance
to this quicksand existence
many say we deserve
