Je profite des vacances pour rattraper mon retard de posts ici ! Pour l’instant ça ne sera que des « copier-coller » de mes posts Instagram, mes excuses à ceux qui me suivent ici et là bas ! Un jour j’arriverai à tout transférer ici mais pour l’instant il n’y a pas encore assez de monde :)
Je commence par un projet sur lequel j’ai adoré travailler l’an dernier et qui est sorti fin novembre 2024, mon livre « Mâchouiller le feu du Cosmos », aux éditions FP&CF.

I finally had time and good enough weather to take some pictures of my last book, « Mâchouiller le feu du cosmos », published by @editions_fpcf . It is a selection of my Inktober drawings of the last three years (most of the prompts come from @peachtober ’s list). The title is made of three words that I picked from the different challenges : « chomp », « fire » and « cosmos » and it can roughly be translated by « Chomping on the fire of the cosmos ». It refers to a precious sensation that I feel when I draw « right » : something lits up in my stomach and I feel like I am chewing on some cosmic energy (with my heart-stomach). I love that the result is some small, casual drawings that, to my eyes at least, are alive with their own energy, their own little fire. Alas, the sensation is not always there, but I know I can always find it again with both commitment and letting go :)

Many thanks to Maxime and Super Terrain for making such a lovely, tiny, shiny book with my little B&W drawings. I love it dearly ! I hope you will too.
