Update on this, even more confused. I dismantled the portable AC because it does not heat, and we have gone from very hot to very cold. The HVAC for the floor and my unit are still displaying the same error and are apparently off. I can't detect any airflow from the diffusers nor across the doorway. Even with the windows closed, The CO2 concentration has stayed remarkably low, not getting above 650 ppm all night. The hallway CO2 was much higher last night ~900 ppm. How is this possible? I know the windows aren't super well insulated, but could the fresh air dampers not have closed when the system shut down?

Went to a trampoline park today and looking at the Aranet readings my conclusion is: the worst zone CO2-wise is the area where all the adults are sitting. The reception area, the changing rooms, the trampoline area were all relatively ok... around 700ppm. But the café gave me a reading of 1547ppm.

Easter used to mean egg hunts, lamb cake, and pickled beet eggs at my grandmother’s table.

Now, it also means something else—spring air, pollen, and what’s happening inside our homes.

I wrote about both. #HudsonValley #IndoorAirQuality #SpringAllergies

Just attended Sweden’s Radon Day in Stockholm 🇾đŸ‡Ș

A room full of experts, authorities, and companies working on one shared challenge: radon.

Really encouraging to see collaboration across sectors — and also refreshing to hear honest discussions about what’s still missing.

Progress is happening
 but there’s more to do.

👉 Curious — is radon something people talk about where you live?

R7 Class Spotlight: Funded Project Report Back on Indoor Air Quality Resources
Join partners from the Public Library of Brookline and the Hamden Public Library to hear how they introduced CO2 Monitoring Kits into their circulating collection. Panelists will discuss why they pursued these programs, how they catalogued the kits and introduced them to their communities, as well as lessons learned and what other libraries should know if they’re interested in pursuing a similar project.
