Since I'd already done red and green I did the deathly purple Mushroom as well.
This one required a bit more work than green since I had to redo the center circle to look not only like a skull but a mushroom as well.

Tonight I gave Mario a shot, this time at a much lower resolution.
Gave coloring a try (using a GB-like palette), as well as an attempt at lighting, and actually tried to follow line art rules as much as possible. It looks alright.
