Abbeydale brewery in Sheffield is something else. I adore them. If I had the energy to collect their beers like comic books or records, I totally would. All their beer is gluten free now, and they've recently become a worker-owned co-operative. Their artwork is universally fantastic too.

Good to see a Modest Beer tap pouring either 2Thumbs Up pale ale or a pilsner (not sure which one) at Amelia Hall bar, Belfast. There's also a Boundary tap pouring Imbongo.

Is this a contender for NI New Beer of the Year in the Golden Pints Awards 2024? Possibly. 8.3% ABV Galaxy Full of Necatron Double IPA by Beer Hut Brewing Company and Modest Beer is full on peach juice (some may say nectarine šŸ˜‰), a dash of papaya and mango with a sharp squidge of apricot, passion fruit and orange rind.
