@alexferrie We must hope that Scottish voters realise that #AnasSarwar and #DouglasRossMP are simply lapdogs who will do whatever it takes to sit at the table with the big kids in Westminster. Yes, the #SNP is imperfect, but at least it offers the hope that as an #IndependentScotland we may be able to rejoin the #EU. I would love that. Cf. Scots fans seem to have more in common with fans of nations other than #england #Euro2024

#HumanRights are not safe in our current UK govt's hands: the disdain for humanity & peaceful protest show the fragility of our freedoms, bound to the whim of our rulers.

But a #constitution establishes a baseline of rights which no government could breach without legal process.

In an #IndependentScotland, we can begin with a constitution. A right to abortion should of course form part of this. No woman here should suffer the fate of our sisters in the US.
