I don't know if this would be an unpopular opinion but computer processors have been good enough for a quarter of a century.

The only reason for 'improvements' is the usual there must be new for continued existence, stasis means it becomes a Common Good.

The other post factual reason is the continuing over larding of software detritus, layers upon layers.

A thought for 501(c)(3) in the US beyond a postcard annual filing to the #IRS.

Federal databases are being used to target areas of interest to industrial forces now part of a coalition with racists and bigots, to harm their enemies (duh, right?).

The IRS database is a shortcut to identify nonprofits working on #InconvenientTruths.

IRS forms such as the 990 are a minefield of innocent errors and omissions. These can be made existentially catastrophic by hostile forces.

Be careful.

I observe without additional comment that my two most-downvoted recent comments on Hacker News are first, a suggestion that a commenters complaint about Tik-Tok showing him underage girls is related to a common desire to idealize youth but avoid illegal or troublesome activity, and second, a statement that kindness never goes out of style.
