cyberveganJust been testing out #linux_mint tonight, because I'm planning to offer a Linux install service for old windows computers via #TelfordRepairCafe and I wanted something beginner friendly. I'm a long term #Debian user, and not afraid of a bit of cli incantation or tinkering and trouble-shooting, but when it's for someone else, I don't want to hand them something they can't be expected to use easily, hence looking at Mint... I actually used it for a while in it's early days, pre-Cinnamon, but my distro hoping days are largely over, and I haven't tried it in YEARS.
Nothing much impresses me these days, really, but I have to say I'm fkn BLOWN AWAY by mint. The decision to use it for the RC is no longer tentative: it's going to be mint. #impressed #amazed #Linux
