You buy anything and have to pay an extra 20% of the total value in #ValueAddedTax (sometimes expensive medical equipment *can be* tax exempt, yay.)
You work yourself to death for an amount decided by someone else *and* there's an #IncomeTax.
Lucky enough to have shelter and you have to pay #CouncilTax.
Buy something from another country and hope it isn't held ransom by #ImportTax.

HOW is "give me money or I'll lock you in a cage" so normal? The saddest part is seeing people genuinely believe the #BenefitsScroungers narrative and go feral when a poor person "abuses the system" but don't bat an eye when rich people do much worse. The #DoubleStandards break my heart.

Punishing the poor with #Taxes cannot possibly be as profitable as a #WealthCap that would automatically redistribute money to fund the things taxes are supposed to, instead of lining the pockets of unhelpful pricks in suits.

The #UK has no freedom of speech, so please note that *all* of my opinions are #Satire. I even encourage police to treat my posts like Facebook TERF rants because "an opinion on the internet isn't against the law."
