This is how happy you are when you’re seriously ill and have just tested positive for ureaplasma again. (The bacteria that nearly killed me in 2024.)

It's unclear how long I’ve had it this time, but most likely since the summer.

I’m self-medicating while waiting for the healthcare system to consider it worth getting involved, so my professional assessment is that the risk is not acute at the moment.

But I am undeniably rather tired.

There's an event coming up next month that I'd like to go to, but which I believe is being advertised falsely. Disability Unleashed is an event which is put out in support of people with disabilities. It is advertised as inclusive and accessible, but there's no mention of masking requirements. I sent a couple of emails to the venue and promoters to find out if people will be asked to wear masks to make it accessible for people with compromised immune systems, but have received no response. I sent a followup saying that the silence makes me think that people will not be asked to wear masks, but maybe there's a hybrid option so immune-compromised folks can still watch from home.

I don't have high hopes. This is so disappointing.

Politicians have just offered us their immunity from responsibility.

It's more than a normalcy bias, it's a liberal bias. Still, people elect these politicians.
