Have any Covid-safe masked people flown out of YVR recently? I’d like to understand what your experience was - I’m going to be flying to Europe in a few months and I’ll be masked the whole time. Did you have any issues with passport control, security etc? Other people? What’s the sentiment? I think 99% of Canadians just go about their business and don’t care if one person might be wearing a mask. Is this accurate at YVR? Very nervous about flying. Catching anything is easy for me and the outcomes are generally bad - and being sick with so much as a cold while being away from home with access to my GP and my local hospital is giving me anxiety. #immunecompromised #masking #travel

I turned up today for my postponed (by the pharmacist) #Covid #booster & was told I couldn’t have my “immune compromised booster” until I turn 65 in May!!!

“Bullshit!” I said, totally blindsided by this crap I was being told.

“I don’t make the rules,” he said & walked off.

This is the same guy who’s given me my previous #immunecompromised 6 monthly boosters!

Definitely not happy. Definitely not using this #fuckwit again.

Yesterday was the international day for disabled people. I only know of one local event celebrating it, and it isn't accessible because attendees aren't being asked to wear masks. Also, it isn't being streamed. It claims to be accessible and inclusive.

I do not appreciate the irony.

Big shout out to my husband’s idiotic coworker who got my immune compromised ass sick with Covid. Thanks for cheerfully hacking up your lungs while not wearing a mask around him when you know he has a wife like me. Sure glad you had your freedom.

Luckily, and I hope it stays this way, it’s mild with only a cough from hell, but not gonna lie, I’m a bit scared.

But to the above coworker and other anti maskers 🖕🏻

I hope you don’t have COVID, and make a speedy recovery. So the Covid Hazard Index is out for the coming two weeks and Canada is currently 'severe' in terms of the risk of catching Covid. Mask up people. If you don't catch it, you can't spread it. If you catch it, wearing a mask will help prevent spreading it. #ImmuneCompromised people everyone will thank you...
