There's a reason why #DigitalBacks are not common for #AnalogCameras and why the only ones I've seen for #Film are literally entire back sides and not something shoved to fit inside a 35mm as drop-in...

• Thanks to @lazygamereviews / #LGR for telling others to avoid paying CHF 500+ for the #ImBackFilm with an image quality that is worse than my first Point & Shoot and isn't even a #FullFrame sensor but a #Micro43 / #m43 format, thus 2x cropped.

It's really disappointing cuz at that price I would've expected a real #35mm frame size and maybe something like custom backs to mount like the original #ImBack35 did.

• Cuz I'd love to upgrade my old #Dynax7xi to use #digital because I have some decent #glass...

But at that price point and piss-poor quality, Luke is right:

• Just get an [active] adapter and use #vintage #glass that way instead...

Been having fun playing with my new toy: my old Canon FTb 35mm film camera equipped with a digital back. The spousal unit decided to back the Kickstarter for the digital back after I showed it to him two years ago and it finally arrived last week. It's certainly gimmicky and far from perfect but it's stíll fun to play with nonetheless.
