We had a phenomenal orchestra rehearsal today with such a great team, Charlie Castronovo, Erwin Schrott, Alfredo Dana, Kevin Connors, Roman Chabaranok, and Tanzel Akzeybel! Great to work on this amazing piece once again.

#NTM #OperMannheim Premiere #Verdi #IMasnadieri eine #Schiller "Die Räuber"-Veroperung. Dass die urspüngl. geplante Sopranistin kurzfristig abgesagt hatte u. ein Ersatz noch fündig wurde, ist bei so einer Rarität ein Wunder.
Interessant, #MargaritaVilsone hatte Amalia vor 5J auf Deutsch gesungen.
Für eine Rarität empfand ich das Werk im Vgl zu den anderen Werken,die ich bisher live erlebt habe,wider Vermutung nicht so langweilig. Warum wird es so selten gespielt?
